Backend Engineer

(hybrid - full time)

Being part of our backend development team, the main goal of your role is to drive general feature development, while ensuring best practices (and tech) to help Inner Circle bring more singles together and change the course of their lives.

Tech stack: PHP 8.2 (Zend / Laravel), AWS hosted (RDS Aurora, ElastiCache).

Result Areas:

• Build new features and develop on existing features to help Inner Circle create the best user experience, bringing more singles together every second.

• Contribute to code refactoring and rebuilds to create a future proof, scalable development environment.

• Be a driver for code quality and best practices, to ensure long term velocity, security and automated testing and reliability.

Experience

• 5+ years of in PHP development

• Framework experience in Laravel, Symfony, or Zend

• Good knowledge of unit-testing and writing testable code

• AWS infra and services experience

• Relational databases (MySQL, Aurora)

• RESTful API development, and OpenAPI specifications

• Understand various programming patterns and know how to implement them effectively
