Amsterdam - Freelance - Part time

Are you a freelance UX/UI Designer, eager to make your mark on our app, that brings millions of people together? The dating app with Dutch roots is live in over 27 countries and touches the lives of over 6 million people. Currently every 4 seconds 2 members get together IRL!


What is the goal of your role?

Creative problem solver that delivers excellent (beautiful, intuitive, consistent, data-driven) product experiences that delight our members and support our goal of getting members together every second.


UX/UI Design at Inner Circle is part of the Product team. You will be working alongside Product Managers, Researchers, Engineering, Data and Brand people, to create delightful experiences that users love. As a key team member, you’ll report to the CPO.


How will you make an impact?

  1. Drive the end-to-end design process, so we build the best-in-class dating app users love. Rapidly iterate and refine design concepts－from initial briefing through final delivery.

  2. Execute, maintain, and evolve the UX/UI of Inner Circle, so we provide a consistent user journey throughout the entire user experience and solidify brand recognition.

  3. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams, effectively communicate design solutions, so we create alignment across teams and execute quickly and smoothly.

Job requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years in product UX/UI design; including 2-3 years in a consumer-facing product design role in the mobile space.

  • A portfolio showcasing successful releases of mobile apps (it would be a bonus if it’s across various markets).

  • Proficient in Figma, including high-fidelity prototyping and component libraries.

  • A high level of craftsmanship when it comes to UI.

  • Strong execution skills, especially in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, connecting your work to company initiatives.

  • Experience with monetization, subscription services or commerce is highly desirable.

  • Outstanding attention to detail with a proven track record of working within and contributing to a design system and brand guidelines.

  • This freelance position is for 3-8 months.
