Analytics Engineer

As our Analytics Engineer, you'll own the foundation that makes it all possible — building the infrastructure that powers how we grow, how we decide, and how we bring people together IRL. Goal of the Role

Own the data stack end-to-end and build the data foundation that powers every product, marketing, and commercial decision at Inner Circle. You work closely with the data lead on direction and priorities, and drive the execution of everything data infrastructure-related - from pipelines and models to documentation and stakeholder support.

Key Result Areas

• Own a stable and well-maintained data stack

You own the data infrastructure end-to-end - pipelines, models, orchestration and observability. Pipelines run reliably, failures are caught and resolved quickly, and the stack grows smoothly alongside new markets, features and data sources. You monitor infrastructure costs and make technical decisions in collaboration with the data lead.

• Ensure data is reliable and consistent

You make sure the data the whole company relies on is correct, consistent and up to date. Quality issues are caught before they reach reports or decisions, metrics mean the same thing everywhere, and data is structured in a way that’s logical and accessible without needing someone to explain it.

• Keep data well documented and easy to use

You maintain the data stack as a shared knowledge resource anyone can use confidently — including AI tools querying Snowflake. Tables, models and fields are clearly described, naming is consistent and self-explanatory, and data flows are documented and kept current.

• Be a reliable data partner across the business

You stay connected to what product, marketing, finance and operations teams need, deliver on it, and keep people informed. Teams can get answers through self-service tooling or directly through you, and stakeholders are never left in the dark when something changes or breaks.

• Continuously improve the data foundation

Beyond maintaining what exists, you actively raise the bar. You spot opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and clarity, contribute to shared data definitions, surface upcoming needs early, and help build a culture where the team trusts the data and knows how to use it well.

What Will Help You Be Successful

• Strong experience with data warehousing platforms, particularly Snowflake

• Hands-on experience with dbt for data modelling and transformation

• Proficiency with data orchestration tools such as Dagster or similar

• Strong SQL skills and experience designing data models for analytics workflows

• Experience with Python for data engineering tasks

• A track record of building reliable, well-documented data pipelines in production

• Ability to translate business questions into data structures and models

• Clear communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and follows through

• Self-starter who takes ownership of projects from start to finish

• Bonus: experience supporting AI-assisted or LLM-based querying on structured data
