Inner Circle Since inception in 2012, Inner Circle has rapidly expanded and is currently active in over 35 cities across the world with over 3M members and thousands of amazing love stories to tell. Not a lot of companies receive baby cards from grateful former customers :-)

Inner Circle brings singles together online through the iOS and Android app and website. We also take the online, offline by facilitating unique date experiences and (pre and post Corona) hosting events around the world. Inner Circle won the Deloitte Fast 50 in 2018, being the fastest growing tech company in The Netherlands.

We are a small but mighty team of 26 who are passionate about dating, tech and getting people together. Our offices are in Amsterdam (HQ), London, Sao Paolo and Dnjepr.

We are looking for someone to ensure the continuity of the work of our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who will be going on maternity leave.

What you’ll be doing

As Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) you will be part of the MT and oversee all marketing. Building on the existing marketing plan, brand vision and (growth) strategy. You will be accountable for growing our user base worldwide across all channels.

Together with the MT you create forecasts, set budgets and targets by market and maturity to ensure a sustainable growth strategy. You will be based in Amsterdam and report directly to the Managing Director.

Team lead

  • You will lead and inspire our team of 12 marketeers, based in Amsterdam, London and Sao Paulo. You coach the team to learn, innovate and identify new opportunities for user growth.

Growth Management

  • You lead a data driven marketing strategy, across all marketing channels: digital, brand (online and offline) and regional marketing. You leverage insights to develop campaigns, targeting and messaging to drive user growth and reactivate churned users.

Brand Marketing

  • You further develop the brand globally and therefore have experience in brand positioning. You can build on your user and market knowledge to develop campaigns, campaign briefings, manage agencies and coordinate creative calendars. You ensure consistency across all marketing channels.

Job requirements

What will make you successful?

You will need to have experience leading the strategic growth of (start / scale up) companies across global markets, lead a team of international marketers, have experience across the full marketing mix with a solid knowledge of digital. 

You are data driven, creative and excited about working for a dating platform. Ideally you have international Marketing experience, have been part of a MT and know how to roll out amazing ATL & BTL global marketing campaigns. You are a star in implementing ways of working and processes, based on agile and OKR’s, in line with the product and tech team.

And although strategic & management skills are key, working at a startup also requires being hands on, hustle and being flexible to the ever and fast changing business dynamics you operate within.
