We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Content Marketer to help us grow our brand and an online presence worldwide. A professional, who values an entrepreneurial spirit, can think both creatively and analytically, is extremely hands-on and will thrive when given the responsibility to run their own projects.

As Content Marketer will report to the Campaign Manager Brand, also based in Amsterdam, and will oversee the creation - and create yourself - of all the content used to promote the Inner Circle brand and help us grow our audience and member base.

You’ll be working closely with your PR, Media Partnerships, Events & Experiences and Brand & Performance colleagues, based in one of the offices in Amsterdam, London, São Paulo and Dnipro.

Responsibilities

Content Manager duties include formulating content strategies, conceptualizing, producing and publishing content, writing, editing and proofreading, among other tasks. You should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence and user communication, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy. Here, content is defined as multimedia articles, blog posts, images or videos that aid in fostering engagement online. Everything to make sure we add a lot of value for our target audience and the singles who signed up for our platform.

  • Formulating a cross-platform content strategy and (social) content calendar
  • Lead the cross-functional Content Hub and align with your peers setting up and executing an unified content strategy that helps achieve our growth goals.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content for acquisition, activation and retention purposes.
  • Set up clear briefs to be used by the designer or agency.
  • Communicating and collaborating with external stakeholders to produce content that can’t be made in-house.
  • Setting up brainstorms with team/project members to develop new ideas.
  • Build a following on the global Inner Circle social media accounts (B2C)
  • Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members.
  • Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
  • Co-create and manage content across all platforms, including email content, alerts, blogs and social media.
  • Scaling the blog The Guest List to top ten languages. Make the blog an essential platform that contributes to both Performance and Brand objectives. Plus, optimize it for SEO.
  • Managing monthly content production budgets

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
  • 5 years experience in a similar role
  • High proficiency of the English language (Journalistic)
  • An eye for detail with a global mindset
  • Adept at keyword placement and thorough knowledge of SEO is preferred.
  • Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills.
  • (almost) pro-journalistic research skills and the ability to think laterally
  • Sufficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficiency with popular content management systems; able to set it up from scratch
  • Experience with setting up social media campaigns (Facebook Ads Manager)
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content that is engaging
  • Experience with (being responsible for) Digital Asset Management (DAM)
  • You follow trends and innovations in the content domain closely and you bring this knowledge into the company.
  • A natural project manager: you get a kick out of running multiple projects simultaneously.
