Goal of the role

As a Senior Controller at Inner Circle, you're responsible for the financial reporting, forecasting and financial controlling of the company. The position oversees the administration and financial reporting process to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results. Ultimately helping the company grow faster, and invest more cleverly while maintaining a healthy profitable company.

The position reports to our CEO, Masha Kodden, is part-time for 24 hours, which can be flexible over 5 days. Work can be done hybrid from home and our head office (40/60), which is a 10-minute walk from Amsterdam Central station.

Result areas

1. Ensure punctual periodic reporting and create budget and cash flow forecasts to help the company stay on track for healthy growth
2. Provide analysis and insights pro-actively to senior management to maximize ROI on investments
3. Oversee and improve the financial administration, payments and other processes to ensure accurate, timely and efficient reporting

4. Oversee the impact of international tax regulations and provision costs to manage compliance, margins and ensure profitability.

What will make you successful?

• Master’s degree in Finance

• 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting with a knowledge of financial reporting and forecasting.

• Experience in an international B2C tech/app scale-up company ideally in both EU and LATAM.

• Experience in supporting long-term strategic plans forecasting growth potential across markets, based on both external (exchange rates, tax regulations, provisions cost from tech providers) and internal drivers

• Data-driven with strong analytical skills to spot patterns and help the company make better decisions faster.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment.

• You like to take proactive ownership and are always looking to learn, automate and make things better.

• Authentic communicator, who finds it easy to collaborate and can explain financial concepts simply and concisely.
